4 6-8 oz boneless chicken breasts
2 large Spanish onion sliced thin
1 T oil
1 T butter
2 NYS tart apples peeled and cored, sliced into rings
4 1 oz sliced NYS white sharp cheddar cheese
1 T brown sugar
1 T cider vinegar
1 cup NYS sweet apple cider
1 T NYS maple syrup
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp water
